Monkey Bread

Monkey Bread
8 bags total
2 bags/class

Ingredients:
Biscuits, 2-3 quarters per child
2 cubes butter (8 tbs. in each)
2 cups granulated sugar
3-4 tsp. cinnamon

Prep:
4 bowls (monkey bread)
napkins, plates, cups

Double recipe so it’s easier to prepare in one step for both classes rather than making one class’ snack and having to prepare more butter and sugar for the next.
Directions:
1. Divide biscuits into quarters.
2. Melt margarine in the microwave covered with a towel.
3. Mix sugar and cinnamon in a bowl.
4. Place the quarters in the margarine and coat well, then coat with the sugar and cinnamon mixture.
5. Place the quarters, flat, single and touching into a baking pan covered with aluminum foil.  Do not place the quarter pieces of biscuits all the way to the edged or it will overflow.
6. Bake in a 350-degree oven for about 20-30 minutes checking often to see they don’t burn.
7. When they are done and have cooled in a pan about 5 minutes, turn over and dump on a plate.
