Rice Krispie Treats


Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients:
1 cubes margarine
9 cups  miniature marshmallows/ 1 bag
1 tsp. vanilla
food coloring (optional)
12 ½ cups of crispy rice

Prep:
4 plates (rice krispies)
napkins, plates, cups

Directions:
1. Melt 1 cube of margarine in a large deep pan. 
2. Add the marshmallows and vanilla. 
3. Stir until smooth.  (It is very important to stir constantly so as not to scorch the mixture.)
4. When smooth, add the crispy rice.
5. Grease the pan that will be used to cool the crispies with non-stick spray . 
6. Pour mixture into the pan and let cool.
7. Cut into small squares, giving two squares to each child. Separate onto plates for each table.
